After qualifying as a medical doctor from the University of Pretoris in 2005, Jaco Janse van Rensburg spent several years doing post-graduate anaesthesia specialist training in South Africa and Ireland.
In 2015 he completed his Fellowship in Anaesthesia at the College of Medicine of South Africa and an MMed in Anaesthesia at the University of Cape Town (UCT).
Before joining Southern Anaesthetics in 2016, he worked as a specialist at the Department of Anaesthesiology and Peri-operative Medicine at UCT.
