Dr Neil Moodley obtained his MBChB from the University of Natal in 1985 and spent the next several years at Livingstone Hospital in Port Elizabeth where he obtained his Diploma in Anaesthesia.
He then worked as a General Practitioner in British Columbia where he obtained his LMCC-Canada.
He returned to specialise in Anaesthesiology at the University of Cape Town in 1990 and obtained his Fellowship of the College of Anaesthesiologists of South Africa in 1995.
Dr Moodley then held consultant positions at Red Cross and Groote Schuur hospitals before he left for private practice and joined Southern Anaesthetics in 1997.
