Dr R A van der Leek obtained his MBChB from the University of Stellenbosch in 1994.
Did his internship year at Conradie hospital.
He then went to the United Kingdom for 2 years where he developed his love of anaesthesia.
He qualified as a specialist anaesthetist in 2002 from the University of Stellenbosch and is a Fellow of the College of Anaesthetists of South Africa.
Went into private practice in 2003 and joined Southern Anaesthetics in 2004
